Reliable leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer (@OnLeaks) leaked rendered images of Google Pixel 6A, giving us a glimpse of the appearance of mid-range devices, originally reported by 91Mobiles.
The rendered Pixel 6A belongs to the budget-friendly Pixel A series product line and looks almost the same as the standard Pixel 6. It appears to have the same black camera strap on the back, with two cameras and a flash, and a punch-hole selfie camera on the front. There seems to be a USB-C port on the bottom of the device, as well as a speaker and a microphone.
As 9to5Google pointed out, there seems to be no fingerprint sensor on the outside of the device-this may mean that the scanner is placed under the screen like Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. Google recently released an update to try to improve the performance of the scanner.
Pixel 6A also does not seem to have a headphone jack. If the rendered image is accurate, Pixel 6A may be the first mid-range Pixel device without headphones-previously, Pixel 5A, Pixel 4A, and Pixel 3A had headphone jacks instead of their Pixel 5, Pixel 4, and Pixel 3 Counterpart.
Pixel 6A may also be much more compact than Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, measuring only 152.2 x 71.8. x 8.7 mm, with a 6.2-inch display (via 91Mobiles). Compared with the 158.6 x 74.8 x 8.9 mm, 6.4-inch vanilla Pixel 6 size, this is much smaller.
There is no news about when the Pixel 6A will be released-after all, the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro were only released last month-so we may have to wait for a while to see some official pictures of the device.
